The easy way to manage your deliveries – automate your delivery operations. The first step to optimize is to have Allocation Rules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How To Create Allocation Rules?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To automatically assign drivers upon Order creation or Order Pickup, please follow the steps below,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Navigate to Main Menu > Settings Dashboard<\/li>
  2. Click on Allocation rules<\/strong><\/li>
  3. Give a name to your rule along with a short description<\/li>
  4. Set the status of the rule as ‘Active’ or ‘Inactive’<\/li>
  5. Set a specific priority to your rule, the lower the priority, the higher is the preference<\/li>
  6. Choose the ‘Rule Type’ as ‘Order Rule’<\/strong><\/li>
  7. Select the ‘Trigger Type’<\/strong> when the Rules will kick in, like during – Order Creation or Order Picked up status<\/li>
  8. In the Assign to dropdown, choose Assign to Driver<\/strong> \ud83d\udc68\u200d\u2708\ufe0f<\/li>
  9. Please Select the driver name and the corresponding capacity of each driver<\/li>
  10. Set condition on when this rule should function<\/li>
  11. Finally, Click on the ‘Tick<\/strong>‘ icon at the bottom left to save the changes<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Sample Use Case<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    In the below image, The following happens,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \ud83d\udc49 When Order is Created > City from = Dubai and City To = Dubai >It gets assigned to Driver ‘Tom Henry’ automatically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Creating Variation In Allocation Rules<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    You can also assign orders to multiple drivers, in the same rule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \ud83d\udc49 When Order is Created > City from = Dubai and City To = Dubai> It gets assigned to Driver ‘Tom’, ‘Jerry’, and ‘Spike’ based on their ratio automatically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    So, The first 30 orders gets assigned to Driver Tom > Then the next 50 orders are assigned to Driver Jerry > and then the next 80 orders are assigned to Driver Spike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Each Driver has a daily limit of 100 orders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    What do drivers receive?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Drivers download the app to receive job alerts, instructions\/navigation to the delivery location, and updates on the progress of the orders. And, You can also set up PUSH Notifications for your Drivers using Notifications settings<\/p>\n\n\n\n
